How to Delete Your Lingua.community Account

If you would like to permanently delete your Lingua.community account, please follow these steps:

Step 1 — Open Your Profile Menu

Click your profile avatar in the top-right corner of the screen and select Settings.

Step 2 — Open “Sign in & Security”

In the left sidebar, click Sign in & Security.

Step 3 — Open the Delete Account Section

Scroll down to the Delete account section.

⚠️ Please note:

Your account will be deactivated immediately and permanently deleted after 30 days. During this period, your account can still be restored

Step 4 — Confirm Account Deletion

To confirm deletion:

1. Enter your current password.

2. Type the word DELETE in the confirmation field.

3. Click the red Delete account button.

   

Step 5 — Deletion Grace Period

After submitting the deletion request:

• your account becomes inactive immediately;

• your data remains recoverable for 30 days;

• you will see a notification that the account is scheduled for deletion when attempting to sign in.

Step 6 — Restore Your Account (Optional)

If you change your mind within the 30-day grace period:

1. Sign in to your account again using your email and password.

2. On the sign-in screen, click the round Restore my account button.

Your account will then be fully restored and deletion will be cancelled.
